With more and more Aussies saying no to a glass (or second pour) of vino, the non-alcoholic beverage industry keeps on growing - to the point where alcohol-free wine has become the fastest growing drinks category in Australia.
If you’re thirsty for a quality, alcohol-free alternative to your go-to tipple, here are the ones that get our tick of approval in both the nutrition and flavour departments.

Naked Life Mojito

Another winner of a non-alcoholic drink, the Naked Life Mojito may even be better than the real deal… With the main ingredient being water, this drink supports our hydration while we get to enjoy the taste of something different. The sweeteners used are natural and the kind that don’t cause us to go on a sugar high then have a sugar crash after drinking them. The ingredients are mostly real food and we can see exactly what goes into it (unlike alcoholic mixed drinks that don’t always list their ingredients). If you’re a mojito lover, this one is a must try!

Monday Distillery Non-Alcoholic Paloma

Indulge in a tantalizing twist on a classic beverage with the Monday Distillery refreshing tequila infusion, packed with juicy grapefruit, sweet passion fruit, tangy yuzu and finger lime. This non-alcoholic, sugar-free delight will awaken your senses with its effervescence and invigorating flavour. Whether you're lounging on the back deck or busting a move on the dance floor, this drink will add some zesty zing to any occasion.

Edenvale Curvee

When it comes to non-alcoholic wines, it doesn’t get much better than Edenvale. These alcohol removed wines taste like the real deal (because they are), but won’t leave you with the hangover the next day. Just de-alcoholised wine and a bit of grape juice concentrate, the ingredients are free from additives and preservatives, meeting our real food philosophy. We’re loving the Sparkling Curvee when we want a glass of bubbly.

When it comes to choosing non-alcoholic wines, try going for the wines that have been dealcoholised. This means you’ll be getting the wine without the alcohol, instead of just an expensive bottle of grape juice. Dealcoholised wine goes through all the same processes as normal wine, it just has the alcohol removed.

Lyres Amalfi Spiritz

Transport yourself to an umbrella lined beach on the Amalfi coast with the Lyres Amalfi Spritz Premix. Unlike many pre-mixes that are full of sugar, this one has less than 7%, most of which is naturally occurring in the grape juice. Switching alcoholic beverages for a non-alcoholic option like this doesn’t have to be boring and with this pre-mix you won’t feel like you’re missing out. It contains non-alcoholic wine to make you feel like you’re consuming the real deal. By enjoying a non-alcoholic pre-mix, it gives your liver a break from detoxing alcohol and can support hydration through the added carbonated water. Did we mention it’s also delicious?

Naked Life G&T

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks alike can be full of so many artificial colours, flavours and sweeteners. You just have to look at the colour of some of them to see what we’re talking about… Not to mention that most alcoholic mixed drinks don’t have an ingredients list! This means we don’t even know what we’re drinking when it comes to the pre-mixed varieties. The brilliant thing about non-alcoholic drinks like the Naked Life G&T is that it tastes like the real deal, doesn’t contain alcohol and tells us exactly what’s in it. Whether you’re wanting to give your liver a break from detoxing alcohol, or you feel like changing it up, this is one to try for the G&T lovers.

Dash Water Peach Sparkling Water & Motive Matcha Lychee Matcha

Looking at the ingredients lists of most traditional soft drinks, we often see things like refined sugars, artificial flavours, colours and preservatives. With that considered, they certainly don’t meet our real food (or drink) standards. Thankfully there are some healthy sparkling water options on the market, which give us the same fizzy satisfaction, while helping us stay hydrated.

Like most things, not all sparkling waters are created equally, but brands like Dash have us covered when it comes to healthy options. Not only do they use real ingredients, but they also use actual fruit extracts! Better yet, the fruits they use are the wonky fruits that so often go to waste, which helps to prevent food wastage! It’s an easy choice to stay hydrated with the Dash Sparkling Water range. We’re loving this peach flavour for the summer vibes it’s bringing.

Similarly, the Motive Lychee Matcha steers clear of the no-go ingredients that are so often found in soft drinks and bring us another healthy fizzy drink. Using monk fruit as their choice of sweetener, this product capitalises on the health benefits of matcha, which is a potent antioxidant! What a fun way to stay hydrated and get some brain boosting benefits in the process.

It's low in sugar and balances sweet spiced notes and freshy tangy citrus in a fun fermented fizz loaded with gut-loving prebiotics.

Mocktails used to pretty much be fruit juice or soft drink with a pretty garnish, but they've come a long way thanks to the distilled non-alcoholic spirits pioneer, Seedlip. Crack open a can of Seedlip Spice 94 and you’ll swear you’re having a G&T - but without the alcohol-induced gut upset. It’s also way lower in sugar than a mocktail from the pub, and feels fancier than a soda water and lime, thanks to the perfect medley of botanicals, tonic, and a twist of tangy, bittersweet grapefruit.
