The beloved coconut is popular for good reason: its packed full of minerals and heart healthy fats, helping heart function and allowing absorption of our other vitamins - so by adding fat, you can actually improve the body’s ability to suck out vitamins (A, D, E and K to be specific) from the other ingredients in the smoothie - all hail coconut!
Ingredients
- 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 frozen banana
- 1/4 cup Absolute Organic Desiccated Coconut
- 1 tablespoon coconut cream
- enough almond milk to reach the consistency you like
Method:
- Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender and top with extra desiccated coconut.
