Natalie Isaacs, Founder & CEO of 1 Million Women
After a career in cosmetics manufacturing, an epiphany about the climate and our planet led Natalie to change her life completely. So she ditched the over-packaged world of beauty, and started 1 Million Women, a non-profit that empowers women to make small changes in their own lives to fight climate change. Her movement has gone global. She now has 800,000 women in her network (and counting!) who are passionate about taking action at the individual level to cut pollution, reduce waste, and help create a healthier world at large.
In 2017, Natalie scooped up the Australian Geographic Society’s Conservationist of the Year award. She’s a highly coveted presenter who travels the world to inspire and educate audiences. She’s even earned kudos from some of the world’s most influential female climate leaders!
As if that wasn’t enough, she penned Every Woman’s Guide to Saving the Planet. It dives into Natalie’s personal story, and offers practical steps for reducing your carbon footprint and mobilising your community to act on an issue that’s affecting our lives and those of future generations.
