The combination of the tahini, dates and salty popcorn creates an almost salted caramel like taste- seriously to die for! Why not make some for a healthy snack for the whole family. They are gluten free, vegan, and require no baking. Easy peasy!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup tahini or nut butter of choice
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 packet Messy Monkey Popcorn
- 1/2 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- 1/4 cup dried dates, roughly chopped
Method
- Melt the tahini, and honey in a saucepan over a low heat.
- In a bowl combine the Messy Monkey Popcorn, walnuts and dates.
- Pour over the tahini mixture, then mix together with hands to coat.
- Line a loaf tin with greaseproof paper and press the bars into the tin
- Cover and place in the freezer to set for 2 hours.
- Once set, slice and serve.
