The warmer weather is here and so is the season for smoothie bowls, chia puddings and yogurt pods! If you're like us at GMB HQ and want it all at once, why not try this yummy recipe from our friends at Nuzest, who have created a Wild Berry and Chia Triffle Pudding.
This not only looks pretty (and great on your Instagram), but is FULL of hidden goodness! Nuzest's Just Fruit and Veg sachets are plant-based protein smoothie blends that contains 5 fruits and 5 superfood veggies. With nothing artificial, no diary, soy or GMOs, these smoothie mixes are a great way to add extra nutrition to your breakfast without tasting it!
Ingredients: Serves 2
For the smoothie bowl:
- 2 serves of Just Fruit & Veg Wild Berry
- 2 frozen bananas
- ½ avocado
- Handful blueberries
For the pre-soaked chia seeds:
- 1/3 cup chia seeds soaked overnight in
- ¾ cup Pure Harvest Golden Mylk
- Pinch of cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon maple syrup
For the Toppings:
- Gluten Free granola
- Smooth peanut butter
- Strawberries
- Blueberries
Method
- Combine your chia seed ingredients in a glass jar and soak overnight (we want them thick!)
- Put all your smoothie bowl ingredients into a blender or nutribullet and blend
- Slowly add water by the teaspoon so your smoothie remains a thick consistency. We want to use just enough to make sure the ingredients can blend
- Grab your favourite glass cup or jar that you want to create your breakfast trifle in
- Pour a thick layer of your pre-soaked chia mix into the bottom of the glass in a flat layer
- Empty your smoothie bowl ingredients almost to the top of the glass
- Use your granola to fill to the top of the glass jar
- Scoop a teaspoon of peanut butter on the top of your granola and stick your fresh berries on top for colourful decoration
