It is packed with antioxidants that have been linked to reducing inflammation, lowering blood pressure, and improving cholesterol and blood sugars. It is high in fibre which helps to promote digestive health. Plus it is a great source of magnesium, potassium, iron and protein. Add this to your baking, smoothies, stir through your morning porridge or make a healthy hot chocolate with it. It’s important to note that a tablespoon of cacao powder contains about 50g of caffeine. This is roughly half the amount of a standard cup of coffee.
