Charlene Wright is an emerging dietitian having graduated from the Master of Nutrition and Dietetic Practice Program at Bond University and commenced her PhD in the School of Medicine at Griffith University, Gold Coast in February 2020. Her research topic involves examining service provision for patients who have undergone bariatric surgery. She is particularly interested in incorporating health psychology and behaviour change in combination with mHealth. Charlene has successfully published four journal articles, three conference abstracts presented internationally, and three conference abstracts nationally. She also works as Director and Dietitian at Aspire Ballarat where she helps individuals achieve their long-term nutrition goals. Aspire Ballarat align their work with health-at-every size and the non-diet approach; focusing on food first and non-weight-centric outcomes.
