Great vegan parmesan

A common thing I hear from those following a plant based diet, or anyone with a dairy intolerance, is that they miss the taste of things like cheese. Thankfully there are plenty of great dairy free products coming to the market and this is one of them!

This Cashew Parmesan from Extraordinary Foods is not only tasty, but it also gives you the added nutritional benefits of the real food ingredients it contains. Nutritional yeast has a naturally cheesy flavour and is packed full of B vitamins, which are great for our energy production. Cashews and sunflower seeds are both great sources of protein and healthy fats, along with a number of micronutrients. This product also has the added benefit of some dried kale and is naturally salted with Himalayan pink salt that has its own mineral content to add to the mix.

These small bags make it extra convenient and keep your cashew parmesan fresh.

Dairy free Parmesan alternative

Pimp My Salad blends are such a fun way to make any meal (especially a salad) super delicious. They take nuts and seeds and create the yummiest flavours with herbs and spices. So, not only does it add the crunch factor to a meal but they add medicinal properties through the array of herb and spices used.

The cheesy flavour in this blend comes from nutritional yeast which is an amazing superfood packed with Vitamin B12
