Korey is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with a passion for helping people of all shapes, sizes and abilities to develop a healthy relationship with food, their mind and bodies.
With her own lived experience of an body dissatisfaction, engaging in diets and an eating disorder, Korey became inspired to help others overcome the pressures of diet culture, develop compassion for their bodies and rediscover a healthy relationship with food. She now utilises Health At Every Size (HAES®), the Non-Diet Approach and Intuitive Eating with clients, from a place of empathy and genuine understanding of what its like to embark on a journey towards food freedom and ditching dieting forever. Korey works with many types of eating disorders including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa and Binge Eating Disorder. She has experience working with both adult and child clients, where she believes it important to allow families the opportunity to be involved in the care she provides. She also works with people experiencing various chronic conditions, including diabetes and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), as well as food allergies and intolerances. Korey volunteers with Eating Disorders Victoria and has a strong relationship with The Butterfly Foundation, with whom she can been involved in several campaigns, spoken on their podcast and been featured in The Age.
