Creamy Plant Based Milk Option

The Minor Figures Organic Oat Milk is a very commonly used plant based milk used in cafes all around AUS. It is super tasty and creamy which makes it a great milk that can be heated and frothed up to add into a coffee, hot chocolate or chai latte.

Minor Figures does contain sunflower oil and Acidity Regulator which are not the best ingredients however, it is a small amount and when adding just a little into your morning coffee it should not be harmful to your health. This is a good one to keep aside for just your coffee and use something different for smoothies, cereal etc.

Lactose Free Milk Alternative

Oat milk is quickly becoming popular for it's creaminess texture, it is especially yummy in coffee. When it comes to lactose free milk alternatives it can be a nice replacement however the Minor Figures oat milk does contain Rapeseed oil which naturally contains high amounts of erucic acid. This can be inflammatory to the body. The reason it is in there is because it serves as an emulsifier and helps bind the oat and water together, this helps that creamy factor. The one thing I'd be mindful with this Minor Figures Oat Milk is if you are using this at home and also whilst out this same brand is used to make your coffee, then you may be having more of this inflammatory ingredient than you think.

I would say every now and again is fine though.

Creamy and sustainable plant milk

While this oat milk does have a good oat content, it contains rapeseed oil which isn't something I like seeing on an ingredients list. This is because rapeseed oil (also known as canola oil) is known as a more inflammatory oil.

This aside, the Minor Figures Oat Milk has a creamy texture and nice taste. Oat milk is one of the more sustainable milk options and is gaining popularity with time. Oats are a great source of dietary fibre, particularly beta-glucan, which is beneficial for cardiovascular health. While the milk doesn't quite give us the same benefits as the whole food, some of these properties do carry on through.

Is this milk meant to be used by baristas?

My local coffee shop has switched to this milk and I find it not good at all for coffees.. Same opinion from my parter and the baristas also told me that not many people are liking it. Just unsure if this milk is suitable for barista type of coffee? Super bitter

Life changing

This milk made me switch from traditional milk to oat milk. It did wonders for my digestion, tastes really good and foams in coffee just like real milk.
