It is a fabulous sweetener to use in your morning coffee or baking. It has a similar sweetness as regular white sugar but contains 40% fewer calories. So, it looks and tastes like white sugar however doesn’t cause the blood sugar and insulin spike that white sugar does. When reviewing this product. Xylitol is definitely better than regular sugar however it doesn’t contain any vitamins, minerals or protein so it is an empty calorie with no nutritional benefit.
