Yes In your professional opinion, would you classify this product as healthy enough to eat A few times a week Rated 5 out of 5 Yummy addition to vegan/vegetarian dishes Jackfruit has become more popular in vegan and vegetarian dishes because it can be flavoured in many different ways while providing the texture of something like pulled pork. Despite being a fruit, the way it's able to be flavoured with whatever it gets cooked with makes it great inside savoury dishes. The thing to be cautious of is making sure you don't use jackfruit as a direct meat replacement because nutritionally they are very different. Jackfruit contains very little protein, which means you'll want to incorporate another protein source into a vegetarian or vegan meal.
