6 Non-Alcoholic Drink Alternatives To Try If You Hate Hangovers

The “sober curious” movement is one that has gained more and more traction over the years. Back in 2017, Forbes reported that millennials in particular are choosing to prioritise their wellbeing so that they can “show up powerfully to their personal and professional lives.”

Off the back of this, research conducted by UNSW also found that alcohol consumption has reached its lowest point since the early 1960s, and contrary to popular belief, this is being driven almost entirely by the younger generation!

There are many reasons why people are choosing not to drink (or not drink as much, or as often). Many wellness enthusiasts acknowledge the effects of alcohol as a depressant and as a whole, one may argue that we are becoming more intuitive when it comes to what we are putting into our body and how that makes us feel—just like we are with the foods we eat.

If you're looking to make the switch to a healthier lifestyle choice, here are some of our favourite non-alcoholic drinks you can enjoy instead! The best part? No dreaded hangover!

1. Edenvale Non-Alcoholic Sparkling Rosé

You’ll recognise this one from our April GoodnessMe Box... it’s so close to the real thing, you won’t even be able to tell the difference! Edenvale use a super sophisticated extraction method to remove the alcohol leaving you with fewer calories, no added sugar, zero preservatives and a high antioxidant count. It also consists of 6 bio-fermented probiotic strains, making it a serious gut-loving option! You can shop this on the GoodnessMe Market.

5. Nexba Sparkling Water

6. Remedy Kombucha

Offering the same "fizz" sensation as some alcoholic beverages, kombucha is the ultimate healthy swap with the added bonus of gut lovin' probiotics! Enjoy as is or turn them into a mocktail if you're feeling extra fancy.
