7:00am

Before breakfast I usually have a glass of warm water with lemon or a glass of water with a tbsp of apple cider vinegar to help kick start my digestion for the day. I’m currently following a Paleo eating style so breakfast is usually eggs of some kind and lots of veggies or a protein smoothie. Today it’s two poached eggs, steamed spinach, steamed asparagus and some left over grilled pumpkin! Delicious!

12:30pm

Lunch is usually a big salad with a mix of raw and steamed veges with some kind of protein such as chicken, meat or fish. Today is a special occasion (yay for uni holidays) and I went out for lunch with a friend to Kepos St Kitchen in Redfern. I had the smoked salmon salad with olives, kipflers, soft boiled egg and dukkah. Taste bud sensation! I will definitely be back here for more. Also had a big pot of tea – it was ginger flavour, so yummy.

4:00pm

I always make sure to have a good afternoon snack with protein to tie me over for dinner. Today it’s a berry and vanilla smoothie made with my favourite coconut water (Natural Raw C) and vanilla pea protein powder. I also love to snack on some raw nuts (almonds and walnuts are my fave!).

My go-to smoothie recipe is:

  • 1 cup Natural Raw C Coconut Water
  • 1 cup mixed frozen berries
  • 2 tbsp protein powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tsp maca
  • 1/2 frozen banana

6:30pm

Dinner is usually some roast or steamed vegetables and some kind of protein (chicken/fish/eggs). Tonight for dinner I’m having a big bowl of steamed kale, roast veges, asparagus and chicken.
