Have a go at re-creating this delicious looking vegan Turkish Delight slice with an Almond Coconut base! Happy baking!
Ingredients
Base Layer:
- 1 cup Almonds
- 1/4 cup Desiccated Coconut
- 1 1/2 Coconut Butter
- 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
Rose Layer:
- 1/2 cup Soaked Cashews
- 1 tbsp Coconut Butter
- 1/4 cup coconut yoghurt
- Rose Essence
Chocolate Layer:
- 1/2 cup Soaked Cashews
- 1 tbsp Coconut Butter
- 1 tbsp Cacao Powder
- 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1/4 cup Coconut Yoghurt
Method:
- In a high speed blender combine almonds until fine then add the desiccated coconut, coconut butter and maple syrup.
- Press into small pan.
- For rose layer: blend and combine soaked cashews, coconut butter, maple syrup, coconut yogurt and a few drops of rose essence. When smooth pour on top of base.
- For chocolate layer: Blend and combine soaked cashews, coconut butter, cacao powder, maple syrup, coconut yogurt. When smooth pour on top of rose layer.
- Place in freezer for 6-8 hours!
