Natural beauty products that work for me!
Ever since I found out I had an autoimmune condition, I became really conscious of what I put into my body. But it’s not only the food we eat that affects our body, it’s what we put on it as well. This is why I made the decision a few years ago to start switching to a more low-tox skincare regime using products bursting with natural ingredients. After all, our skin is the largest organ in our body and much of what we place on our skin is absorbed into our bloodstream. Here are few natural beauty products you'll find in my cabinet
Noir Activated Teeth Whitening Charcoal
When I first opened this product, I was very curious about how it would feel. But any doubts lifted as soon as I started using it. Made from all-natural ingredients, this toothpaste alternative cleans teeth whilst gently whitening. The activated charcoal absorbs toxins in the mouth, while mint oil adds a cooling hit. I've been using this product once a month for an extra white clean.

One of my favourite discoveries is Dr Bronner’s organic hemp peppermint pure-castile liquid soap. It’s certified fair-trade and has a luxurious texture that can be used on the body, hands, face and hair. you can even wash your clothes with it!
If I’m after something a little more feminine, I go with the rose soap bar. Made with hemp oil, it leaves my skin feeling silky smooth.

Ethique Haircare
When I discovered Ethique, I couldn’t stop telling my friends about it. It’s that good! Instead of the standard liquid products, Ethique has created a range of awesome shampoo and conditioner bars. All you need to do is lather up your hair and you’re good to go! One bar is equivalent to 3-5 bottles of the standard stuff, and they are one of the few beauty companies that is plastic-free. They are also another great cruelty free beauty product.
