When it comes to cafes in Sydney, to say we're spoilt for choice is an understatement. Weekend brunching has quickly become a favourite pass-time and who even thinks about starting the day without a coffee? Keep scrolling for 7 healthy hot spots to add to your hit list!

1. Daily Greens, Paddington

A new health sanctuary nestled in the leafy suburb of Paddington, Daily Greens is a sustainable cafe serving a range of nutritious salads and warm nourishing bowls. Apart from the menu, the space (which is quite literally built around a large tree) is just as worthy of your attention. Take some time out in the sun-drenched courtyard or grab some lunch-to-go.

2. Bread & Circus, Alexandria

For a satisfying, filling and healthy brekkie, look no further than Bread & Circus. Our top picks? The 'summer on toast', 'parmesan not-so-scrambled eggs' and 'breakfast w/gwyneth' are all delicious savoury options. More of a sweet tooth? The humble little 'fruit plate' is next-level as is the 'spiced banana bread'. You. Are. Welcome.

3. Hale & Hearty, Waterloo

We've got two words for you: fluffy pancakes. Boasting an extensive menu of both sweet and savoury pancakes (and other things too, but did we mention they have PANCAKES?) Hale & Hearty is where all your gluten-free, dairy-free and sugar-free dreams come true.

4. Egg Of The Universe, Rozelle

A unique wellness concept, at Egg Of The Universe, you can enjoy a spot of yoga before heading right next door for a nourishing meal at their cafe. Dishes are wholesome, vibrant and colourful and their kombucha is made in house, so there's that, too!

5. Ruby Lane Whole Foods, Manly

Cafe and organic grocer, what we love about Ruby Lane is that you get to shop your favourite products at the same time! Created with sustainable produce, organic and locally-sourced where possible, Ruby Lane's all-day menu caters to a number of different dietary requirements. They also have a kids menu making it a great spot for the whole family!

6. COOH, Alexandria

Just down the road from GMB HQ, COOH is one of our fave go-to's. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, not only do they do great coffee (with every type of milk), you really can't go wrong with whatever dish you order. Some standouts include the cauliflower and tahini salad, zucchini buckwheat fritters and grilled salmon with soba noodles. Yum!

7. Orchard Street, Bondi
