Monica Meldrum - Co-Founder of Whole Kids
Holy guacamole! Monica is the brains behind the largest (and most delicious) range of certified organic, additive-free and allergen-friendly snacks for kids in Australia. That’s no small feat! She started her business back in 2005 with the belief that kids deserve to have access to healthy food, and parents should be able to trust the brands they buy, without question. Today, the products are sold both locally and internationally, and can be found in more than 2000 retail outlets.
Along with her husband and business partner, James, Monica’s committed to doing her bit to create a healthier world for our children, and a portion from the sale of each product from this award winning business go towards funding kids health and environmental projects in Australia and the rest of the world.

People are paying attention. Whole Kids was the first food company in Australia to be certified a B corporation, and was recently listed in the top 20 of Westpac’s 200 businesses of Tomorrow. In 2019, Whole Kids was named the Organic Business of the Year by Australian Organic. Given that the growing industry is worth $2.4 billion, this is beyond impressive.
Monica also picked up the 2018 Small Business Champion Entrepreneur award, and she’s a mum to two kids of her own!
