Vanilla Collagen Pancakes

Collagen is the most abundant protein present in the human body (found in our hair, skin and nails). It's responsible for fighting of wrinkles, fine lines and keeping our skin looking and feeling firm, supple and plump.

Ingredients: Makes 5

1 cup almond meal

1 10g packet Locako Beauty Collagen

1 tsp baking powder

Pinch of sea salt

2 eggs

¼ cup milk of choice

Method:

  1. Mix the almond meal, collagen, baking powder and salt together in a bowl.
  2. Add the eggs and milk and mix just until combined.
  3. Heat some oil in a non-stick pan over a medium-low heat and pour about 2 tablespoons of batter per pancake into the pan.
  4. Let cook for about 2-3 minutes until little bubbles start to form on top, then flip and let cook for another minute.
  5. Serve with your favourite toppings like berries, yoghurt and maple syrup!
