What makes canned beans so good is that they are ready to use and at any point in time and you do not need to stress about preparing them. These are also organic and the tin is BPA free which is always a big tick. I would say these are absolutely essential for all plant based diets because of the great source plant based protein. But, of course beans can be included into diet. In general beans also contain B vitamins, Vitamin K, zinc, manganese, selenium and antioxidants. This includes these Ceres Organics Borlotti Beans. Add these to your soups and stews. With no added salt or preservatives, Ceres Organics keep the nutritional integrity of this product at a high. Canned beans are highly convenient and save us the time of having to soak and cook them from scratch. I love stocking my pantry with canned beans and incorporating them into meals when I need a fibre and protein boost. Fibre is great for supporting our digestive system and gut health and as a result beans can help with this.
