Seaweed makes for the the perfect on-the-go snack, but have you ever thought about mixing them through a nourish bowl? They provide great texture and flavour and of course, the goodness of iodine which we all need in our diets.
Ingredients
1/3 block of tempeh, cut into cubes
1/2 tbsp tamari
1/2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp fresh grated ginger
1 packet Ceres Organics Teriyaki Seaweed
1/4 cup cooked edamame beans
1/2 cup steamed green beans
1/2 Lebanese cucumber, diced
1/2 cup baby spinach leaves
1/2 cup cooked brown rice
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
2. Combine the tamari, maple syrup, olive oil and ginger. Whisk with a fork and then drizzle over the tempeh on a lined baking tray.
3. Bake for 10-15 minutes.
4. Arrange the rice, vegetables and seaweed in a bowl.
5. Add the tempeh and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
