It takes just 45 seconds to ‘make’: simply pop in the microwave and in less than a minute, your fancy-looking rice pudding is ready!\nTry Forbidden Food's Brekky Rice in the April 'Mindfulness' Box!\nWe can’t get enough of this one, so we thought we’d share some simple topping recipes that can transform this wholegrain rice pud into something a bit special.\nPapaya Boat with Black Rice\n\nThis tropical, Asian-dessert-inspired recipe can be enjoyed anytime of day.\nServes: 2 | Prep Time: \u0026lt;10 mins | Cook Time: 5 mins\nIngredients\n\n½ a red papaya, cut in half lengthways with the seeds scooped out\n1 x Forbidden Brekky Black Rice \u0026amp; Coconut Organic Instant Rice Pudding\n1 small-medium banana, sliced into thick rounds\n½ a lime, cut into two wedges\nGreek or coconut yoghurt, to serve\nA few fresh mint leaves, to use as a garnish\n\nMethod\n\nHeat the Forbidden Brekky Rice as per instructions on the pack.\nFill the papaya (where the seeds were) with the warmed Brekky Rice, followed by the banana slices.\nServe with lime wedges, yoghurt and mint…lovely!\n\nBerry Good Black Rice\n\nThis simple but impressive-looking dessert can also be served for breakfast. We like it because it always look super colourful, and you can easily chop and change the fruit you use each time…you’ll never get bored of this one!\nStrawberries (or raspberries) work especially well here - their slight tartness cuts the richness of the creamy coconut, providing the perfect flavour balance.\nServes: 1-2 | Prep Time: \u0026lt;10 mins | Cook Time: 45 seconds\nIngredients\n\n1 x Forbidden Brekky Black Rice \u0026amp; Coconut Organic Instant Rice Pudding\n½ a cup strawberries\n1 small-medium banana\n1 tablespoon almond butter\nHandful of dry-roasted cashews, roughly chopped\n\nMethod\n\nHeat the Forbidden Brekky Rice as per instructions on the pack.\nOnce warmed, place the rice into a ¾ Cup measuring cup, making sure it’s tightly packed.\nPlace cup with the rice upside down on a serving board or plate, tapping the top so that the rice comes out nice and neatly.\nDecorate with strawberries, banana, cashews, and of course almond butter for dipping!\n\nBrekky Rice Porridge with Mango \u0026amp; Passionfruit\nWe’re loving this one is from the peeps at Forbidden Foods. One heated place Brekky rice into a shallow bowl.
