Yes Would you recommend this product to your clients as a part of a balanced diet? Yes In your professional opinion, how often would you classify this product as healthy enough to eat Every day Rated 5 out of 5 One of the few GF Oat Products on the Market A common question I receive as a Nutritionist is, "are oats gluten free?" The answer.... is yes, but many standard oats are produced in the same place as wheat, barley and rye. Due to the potential cross contamination this makes them unsafe for people with coeliac disease and gluten intolerances. These Gloriously Free Oats are just that, they are uncontaminated, meaning they are of the very few that don't have traces of gluten. So if you have a gluten sensitivity these may be ok for you, but of course check with your health care provider first. Loading... Yes In your professional opinion, would you classify this product as healthy enough to eat Every day Rated 5 out of 5 Friendly for those avoiding gluten Great news for anyone with a gluten intolerance or sensitivity, you can still enjoy the benefits that this nutritious grain comes with. Oats are a fantastic source of beta-glucan, which is a soluble fibre that is beneficial for gut health and cardiovascular health. They are also nutrient dense, containing important minerals like manganese, phosphorus, magnesium, copper, iron and zinc. Oats can be used in so many different ways and I always recommend buying the big bag! If you have coeliac disease, I do recommend proceeding with caution when it comes to eating oats (even uncontaminated ones). This is because oats contain a compound called avenin, which is molecularly similar to gluten and may cause similar symptoms and discomfort. Loading...
