An ok vegan alternative

The ingredients are pretty good in this product. I’m not a fan of vegetable proteins normally however they have used non GMO which means it hasn’t been genetically modified. I would however recommend just using lentils as the base of a mince if you are Vegan.

Plant based protein option

An alternative to normal mince for anyone following a plant based diet or wanting to incorporate more vegetarian meals into the mix. This Walnut & Lentil mince from Plantasy Foods can be used as the protein source in a number of different types of dishes. It's great to see mostly real foods on the ingredients list, with the only processed ingredient being the TVP, thankfully this is from a Non GMO soy which definitely gives it some brownie points. With dried vegetables used to flavour this mince, you're not only getting a yummy taste but also helping to contribute towards your daily variety with a little boost of veg.
