At GMB, we’re big believers in natural, no-tox skincare. These days, it’s easier than ever to go down the natural route. There are plenty of products that are tailored to specific skin types and concerns, and they’re just as effective than the commercial, chemical-laden products.
These are the natural face products I’m currently slathering on my skin.
Natura Siberica – Caviar de Russie Age Delay Face Soap
I’m religious about my skincare routine, and for the past few months, I’ve been using this foaming cleanser from Natura Siberica. It’s gentle enough to use morning and evening, and works to lift impurities and makeup, leaving my skin feeling soft moisturised. It contains ingredients that nourish, renew and smooth skin, including black caviar extract, AHA-acids, seaweed extract (yes, really!), and Siberian herbs.
Kiehl’s – Pure Vitality Skin Renewing Cream
After cleansing, I’ve been moisturising with Kiehl’s Pure Vitality Skin Renewing Cream. With red gingseng root and manuka honey, the moisturiser absorbs easily and helps to smooth, refine and add radiance to my skin. Manuka honey is known to strengthen the skin barrier and combat the signs of ageing, and I like applying it knowing that I’m helping ‘future Peta’s’ skin. A little goes a long way, so you don’t need to use too much.

Charcoal Me – Facial Cleansing Bar
I’m a huge fan of activated charcoal. It has amazing cleansing and detoxifying properties (which is why you’ll often see it popping up on healthy café menus), and it works wonders when applied topically. When my skin is congested or dull, I turn to this Charcoal Me cleanser. It’s 100% natural and vegan-friendly, and packed with goodies like activated coconut charcoal, bentonite clay, coconut oil, olive oil and essential oils. It deeply cleanses and naturally exfoliates skin, all while drawing out impurities. It’s ideal for oily, combination and blemish-prone skin, and can be used daily.

Cocobetty – Coconut Oil Wipes
Is anything more versatile than coconut oil?! I’m obsessed with the stuff, so I was excited to discover Cocobetty’s Coconut Oil Wipes. Saturated with organic coconut oil, they wipe away make-up and product build-up, leaving skin clean and hydrated. Coconut oil is rich in vitamin E to restore moisture, protect and boost skin’s health, and I’ve really noticed the difference. The wipes are packaged individually – I keep a few in my desk drawer and handbag.

The Beauty Chef – Dream Repair Cellular Serum
The Beauty Chef can do no wrong. One of my favourite natural skincare products is the Dream Repair Cellular Serum, which I massage into my skin in the evening. It’s made up of a beautiful blend of ingredients to repair, rejuvenate and smooth skin while boosting collagen production. It’s rich in antioxidants, omega-3s, vitamins A, B, C, E, and K, and natural oils to leave skin healthy and radiant. If you haven’t made the switch to natural face products yet, this serum is a good place to start.
Supercharged Food – Earth Mask & Scrub
When it comes to skincare, there’s nothing better than a good old scrub, and nothing more luxurious than a mask. Supercharged Food has a product that does double the pampering: the Earth Mask & Scrub. Packed with minerals and clay, it cleanses, heals, nourishes and smooths skin, reduces pore size and boosts blood circulation. I love a multi-tasker, and this product is exactly that. It’s great for rosacea and pigmentation, and I reach for it when my skin is a little tired, and before events to give me a little extra glow.
Vida Glow – Collagen
I swear by collagen for healthy, youthful skin, hair and nails, and I will tell anyone who asks about Vida Glow. The Aussie company has created sachets of natural marine collagen, which can be stirred in food and drink (like tea or coffee) to not only speed up collagen production, but also produce the protein. I had a sachet a day for two months leading up to my wedding day, and saw incredible results in that short time: think long, shiny hair, strong nails, and clear skin.
