Recipe: Strawberry & Choc Raw Protein Slice

We absolutely love raw treats because they are super easy to prepare and requires no baking skills! This strawberry and chocolate protein slice using the Naked Harvest Thrive Plant Protein (which you'll find in the October Conscious Box) makes for a great afternoon snack that will keep you satiated until your next meal (and satisfy those sugar cravings!).

Recipe: Strawberry & Choc Raw Protein Slice

Ingredients

Base

  • 1.5 cups almond flour
  • 1 packet Naked Harvest Supplements strawberry protein
  • ¼ cup nut butter of choice 
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • ⅓ cup chopped walnuts
  • ¼ cup water

Topping:

  • 125g diced strawberries
  • 50g melted dark chocolate


Method

1. Line a loaf  pan with baking paper.
2. In a medium bowl, combine the almond flour, protein powder, nut butter, vanilla, maple syrup, water and walnuts until a “dough” is formed.
3. Press the dough batter into the load pan to form the base.
4. Top with the strawberries and press into the base.
5. Melt chocolate in the microwave until fully melted.
6. Drizzle the chocolate over the strawberry layer. 
7. Place in the freezer to set for about 1 hour.
8. Slice into 8-10 bars and enjoy!
